EUREKA — Brad Polanin (Metamora, Ill./HS) hauled in a 25 yard touchdown pass from Nick Lindsey (Homer, Ill./Heritage) and Eureka College intercepted four Concordia University Chicago aerials en route to a 28-21 triumph Saturday afternoon. With the victory, the Red Devils improved to 1-3, 1-1 Illini-Badger Football Conference. Concordia (2-3, 1-1 IBFC) suffered its first loss in league play. read more

The Aurora University football team improved their season record to 2-2 on Saturday afternoon, as they beat visiting Panthers of Greenville College 16-0. The win takes Aurora’s Illini-Badger Football Conference record to 2-0, while Greenville falls to 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in the IBFC. read more

The Aurora University Spartan football team notched its first win of the season on Saturday afternoon as they beat the MacMurray College Highlanders 47-0 in the Illini-Badger Football Conference opener at AU Field. read more

EUREKA -- Eureka College dropped its second home football game in as many outings this season at the hands of the North Park University Vikings Saturday afternoon by the score of 33-12. The Red Devils owned a 34:35 to 25:25 advantage in time of possession, but fell victim to several big plays in sliding to 0-2. read more

The Aurora University Spartan football team fell to 0-2 on the season Saturday afternoon on AU Field, after being defeated 37-7 by the visiting Kohawks of Coe College. Coe improved to 2-0 on the season with the win. read more

Lakeland College suffered a tough 35-16 Carthage College in Kenosha on Saturday evening.

The Muskies (0-2 overall) were able to convert on just 4-of 15 third down conversions, while the Red Men (2-0 overall) took full advantage of their chances, converting on 10-of 18 third down opportunities. read more
